I am an artist. I’ve been performing and teaching music professionally for over 20 years as a freelance bassist. One of the biggest challenges I have had in my musical career has been the internet. For the longest time I just didn’t take it seriously except for when I was searching for something. It wasn’t until I “slowed down” from music that I started to realize the internet’s potential. I now own a children’s clothing company that has been running strong in the Caribbean for many years and is relatively new to the United States. When we brought the company to the U.S. we decided to keep it simple and start out online. It was not simple. In fact, it was extremely challenging but after stumbling all over myself, spending money I didn’t need to spend and exposing a few money pits I started to get the hang of it. I learned quite a few valuable lessons in that time period. I’ve now handed the management of that company over and refocused on my true passion: The artist community.
